We’re entering one of our busiest event months of the year. Hold on to your hat as we begin on Saturday, May 9, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with the Annual Olive and Lavender Festival hosted by The Downtown Main Street Association in the City Park. This is the 18th festival for lavender and the 22nd for olives. The iconic smell and colors of lavender will greet you everywhere. You will feel calm, serene, and peaceful as you wander through the park enjoyingdemonstrations and tastings of local olive oils and lavender treats. There is an array of plants, foods, and gifts everywhere! Remember, tomorrow is Mother's Day!

Armed Forces Day is remembered on Saturday, May 16, this year. A time when we pay tribute to men and women who serve in the United States Armed Services: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Reserve Units whohave all been unified in the Department of Defense.

The weekend of May 15-17 presents the Paso Robles Wine Festival. For over 40 years, the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance has orchestrated this event, originally in the Downtown City Park, now at the Paso Robles Event Center. We’re going back to the Downtown City Park for the 18th annual Golden State Classic Car Show on May 23 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Enjoy viewing over 100 cars and trucks, music, raffles, food trucks, and the Manufacturers’ Row.
